Kylie Minogue ] I really don't mind the rain right now, it leaves me without the feeling of needing to go appreciate the daylight and lets me focus on school and avoiding school through use of Illustrator. I'd love to post more pictures of sculpture, but I've been lazy about the first project... and my second project isn't even something that could be photographed. It was based mainly on sound and light, relying on the space to react to the ephemeral additions, as well as the twine blockades. When it comes to photography, I ahve yet to end up with a print that I really, really like that hasn't been digitally imitated at the same time. Tigerbastard.

Photography as Art 2 [25 Sep 2007|07:47pm] [ music | Dragonette - Another Day ] I'm a believer now. Photography can be art, the way there are all the details and doodads you can control,the printing process intimate relationship you can have with the film in the dark. It's a good thing I had such scrutiny before though. You still have to do something interesting with it though. These are three studies for a photography project on... self portraiture. Digital is handy to test out what I'm doing for film. Tigerbastard.

Taking photography next year will either strengthen or dissolve that idea. Naarah told me about the first assignment she did with Nancy, where she had to document a single place. Welcoming a new child. [09 Apr 2007|11:20pm] [ music | Daft Punk - Technologic (Basement Jaxx Kon ] I've bought myself a new camera, effectively doubling my total debts. I've spent the last day and a half fiddling with it, trying to learn the little bitchies and the booties, the buttons and the beep-beeps. Knowing anything about photography would likely help me know what the hell which function does what- I got one of the more fiddly cameras for the event that I actually learn what I'm doing. So how do I evolve the previous ideas of multiplying myself? Through subtraction. I've removed myself from the situation.
